To get married in Tuscany, your wonder wedding planner!
Tuscany, what an amazing region! I am probably saying this because of the emotional bond that ties me up to it, its breath-taking views, its artists, towns and villages; however, no one can doubt its beauty and distinctiveness. No wonder it is well known and loved all over the world. Thinking back of weddings celebrated in the Tuscan country-side, what springs to mind is the one of Simona and Michele, which took place two years ago.
The couple and I went to many different places exploring all sorts of venues, from villas to agritourisms, with one thing strongly in mind: the venue had to be beautiful and the quality of the food very high.
I suggested this gorgeous venue by the lake called Serendepico; the couple were really impressed with it and decided to go for it. Apart from being a stunning place, Serendepico offers very high quality, innovative and creative cuisine.
After the civil ceremony, which took place at Palazzo Orsetti, in the very heart of Lucca, the bride and groom were taken to the venue by a vintage car decorated with hearts made of gypsophila flowers and dragging the traditional tin cans.
A nice buffet aperitif was arranged in the garden, and a very long regal table was set for dinner.
Concerning the floral decorations, aromatic herbs, gerberas, camomile and yellow and peach roses were used, so that it would all look very natural and in harmony with the environment – all organised by Rosa Tea Fiori.
As placeholders we thought of nice little linen bags with two different types of herbal teas in them. For the wedding favors we chose the AIRC white boxes.
The tableau consisted of a vintage case surrrounded by little vases with flowers, and lace ribbons.
For the wedding cake we suggested two different options: a chocolate tart covered up with chantilly cream and exotic fruit, or a classic tart with cream and seasonal fruit, made by Sandra e l’angolo dolce. Two little wooden bride and groom as cake topper – created by Il Mondo di Pafù.
I would like to thank Beatrice Speranza for the wonderful pictures; she was very attentive, creative and professional.
